We want you to carefully select from among yourselves seven godly men. Make sure they are honorable, full of Holy Spirit and wisdom, and we will give them the responsibility of this crucial ministry of serving.  Acts 6:3 TPT

Stephen, a man full of faith and of Holy Spirit… full of God’s grace and power, who did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people, 

And as the first deacon discerned by the Church, he set the bar high for any who would follow. He was known to act- he demonstrated with his life to be full of Holy Spirit, wisdom, faith, grace and power.

Prayer, conversation with God, believing in Jesus, were Stephen’s sources. He was constantly yielding, surrendering to Holy Spirit and allowing the life of Holy Spirit to be expressed through his life! Wow! 

His martyrdom was the consequence of the truth with which he lived..... BOLD..... 

Stephen looked to his leader, Jesus Christ, and  took up his cross, following Jesus faithfully.
