Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of Your Word, Lord, makes my pathway clear.  Psalms 119:105 TPT

Jesus paid for our guilt and bore our shame. He carried it all to the cross. there He left it! Yes! This is a truth of grace, of God’s gift of  forgiveness.

And thinking for a moment about the relationship we get to have with God - seeking Him, walking alongside Jesus, learning from Holy Spirit, we will continue to exempt ourselves from the promises He gives us until we learn how to receive God’s unconditional love for ourselves. We don’t love ourselves because we are good. We can love and accept ourselves because He is good, and we are His creation.

God has always loved you. He accepts you and me under the grace of Jesus Christ. If God loves you, you are worth loving. Period. What other confirmation do we need?

I know for certain when we shift our perspective, we begin to change our focus. When we fix our eyes on God, we realize the things that are in the valley are much smaller. Don’t focus on the valley, focus on God. Focus on His Word. Let His Word light your path.

David declared in Psalms 23:4 TPT Even when Your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for You, my God, already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of Your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for You are near.

..... walked through the valley — my friends! the key word is, “through”. If we focus on what’s happening in the valley, we will get stuck on what’s happening around us instead of focusing on God and what He has laid out before us! By His amazing grace!

And remember too, we can’t ask for help, be rescued, then jump back onto the life raft.... no way, we must let God lead us out of the valley. Don’t let the shadows and distractions of the valley deter you from pursuing God. His vision will not die in the valley. You will not die in the valley. Look to the hills. Look to Jesus Christ. press forward.

Philippians 3:14 GNB So I run straight towards the goal in order to win the prize, which is God's call through Christ Jesus to the life above.

Yes, we have to actively choose. Choose to press and keep on pressing. Pursue everything that God has prepared. Always looking to God.

Thank you for visiting us here. May God’s Light shine on you. May His Peace lead you. May you dwell in His Presence.
