I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection is only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. Psalm 121:1 TPT

When chaos surrounds us with ever changing rules and regulations, new expected behaviours and conforming decisions which will impact our households - choose to lift up your eyes beyond life’s challenges and circumstances. Look up to the mountains! Choose to lift up your eyes and focus on Jesus Christ.  He invites us into His family, He waits for us, He accepts us right where we are. He sees in each one of us exactly what God created us to be.

And even though there is certainly a growing undertow of the enemy plotting to pry people apart with raging opinions - opposing moral battles and political oppositions I am certain in these times we are to be reconcilers for God.

We have a divine connection in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. His love is unconditional and transcends every dividing wall imaginable. He broke down the barriers and reconciled us to God. And asks us to work in unity with His children, our brothers and sisters.

Because God’s grace is sufficient.  We are to spread the Lord’s light to all we meet, all while seeing others as God does!

John 13:34-35 NET I give you a new commandment – to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. Everyone will know by this that you are My disciples – if you have love for one another.

Jesus came to heal, to restore, and to pour out grace and love. He went to the outcast and the forgotten, one of the most remarkable things to me is that He lived life with those who sought Him, actively sought Him!

And He invites us into that lifestyle! Whoa! Imagine it! the daily ministry of simply participating in the lives around us - from our immediate households to our workplaces and each interaction with each other that God gives us - we GET to live out His love best when we knock down dividing walls and live lives that reflect His overflowing grace.

2 Corinthians 8:4 NET Begging us with great earnestness for the blessing and fellowship of helping the saints.

I’ve probably repeated this but so often God wants us to not only have friendships with neighbours, coworkers but be a flash of light in someone’s day, you might never see that grocery store cashier or clothing store clerk again but with Holy Spirit showing us we can be grace for a moment.

So yes, absolutely go and BE the good news of Christ’s forgiveness, His healing, empathy, compassion, friendship.

Lets offer every area of our life in obedience to live as Jesus lived. Tell others about His restoring, redemptive forgiveness that washes us clean.  It is the truth. Therefore speak it.

Go to the places that are fun and also go to the places that are uncomfortable and start seeing the people who live in our communities, in our own families, as Jesus sees them.

In doing so we will most certainly find that God’s love, and His blessings, flow both ways. God by His authority brings us into circumstances that we can’t understand at all, (but Holy Spirit understands). And Jesus brings us to places, among people, and into certain environments to accomplish His purpose in partnership with Holy Spirit.

Invite Him into every day.
