Seek the LORD while He makes Himself available; call to Him while He is nearby!  Isaiah 55:6 NET

Have you ever paused a moment and recognized just how incredible the gifts of God’s forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life really are! And those gifts are to be a piece of our testimony, to be shared for the salvation of others.

Whoa. God is holy and righteous. He has revealed Himself through everything He has created and no one can claim that they have not seen His nature. His anger burns against those who are wicked, living lies, Lies that imprison.  They lock us in a cycle of cover-ups, addictions, shame, and isolation.

Truth has the opposite effect. It’s not restrictive or oppressive; it’s actually freeing.

John 8:31-32 NIV To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Did you catch that? Knowing the truth sets us free! This freedom results from our close proximity to and trust in Jesus (the Truth).

You see my friends, walking in truth is not just adhering to a list of rules; it’s enjoying a relationship with the Savior, with the liberator of captives Himself!
