The Breaking Of Bread

But the wonderful anointing you have received from God is so much greater than their deception and now lives in you. There’s no need for anyone to keep teaching you. Holy Spirit’s anointing teaches you all that you need to know, for He will lead you into truth, not a counterfeit. So just as the anointing has taught you, remain in Him.  1 John 2:27 TPT

The Book of Acts tells us that after the first disciples were baptized in Holy Spirit, they were “continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” 

I like this reminder too because while gathering together looks completely different then it did twelve months ago, we can be grateful that Holy Spirit gives us a supernatural grace that causes Christians to love one another deeply. It was not possible before Pentecost because it is a manifestation of the indwelling Holy Spirit.  

True too is the fact that just as taking action with dunamis power given by Holy Spirit, and demonstrating the Lord’s power, strength, and force enables us to heal the sick or work miracles, it also brings us together, knitting our hearts and teaching that all things come from God. Yes ! Holy Spirit is at work in His creation and the lives of His people. We are each called to be a part of God’s kingdom! 

And He gives us Himself as teacher and advocate to walk alongside us! That is the power of God at work in His people to bring reconciliation and unity and fellowship not only with each other but between Him and His children.
