And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:22–23 NIV
The word church comes from the Greek word ecclesia, which means “an assembly” and we can see that when God talks about the church, He isn’t referring to a building. He’s referring to people, and His people are you and me!
Because of this, we want to encourage you not to go through the motions of “doing” church. Instead, we all need to purpose ourselves to “be” the church that God created us to be!
