Jesus, knowing their thoughts, called them to His side and said, “Kings and those with great authority in this world rule oppressively over their subjects, like tyrants. But this is not your calling. You will lead by a completely different model. The greatest one among you will live as the one who is called to serve others, because the greatest honor and authority is reserved for the one with the heart of a servant. Matthew 20:25-27 TPT
Jesus Christ, Saviour to all, fulfilled perfectly the calling that He Himself described when He said: "The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve. Therefore, commissioned in Isaiah 42:6-7, you and I have also been called to service--not to accomplish anyone's salvation, only God can do that, but to share of the salvation freely offered, salvation that Christ has accomplished for all who declare He is our risen Saviour.
Maybe see it this way, Holy Spirit has said that we are the redeemed of the Lord--the ones who, having been cleansed by the blood of Christ and called by His grace, are about the business of living for Him who died for us.
