So then, we must cling in faith to all we know to be true. For we have a magnificent King-Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.  Hebrews 4:14-16 TPT

Hallelujah! Because we are His children, we can speak with our magnificent God often, always, anytime, day or night.

The Lord’s Prayer is how Jesus taught His disciples to pray. And by example, He showed them the need for time alone with God in prayer. We too must set aside time to talk with God and read the Bible, His living Word.

Ive written down a few prayer thoughts to consider while spending time with God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit this week:

Necessity of Prayer.

Ephesians 5:15-17 TPT So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honourably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for His purposes.  And don’t live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God’s will.

Jesus taught that prayer is not an option— its not something to do when we “feel like it”—it is a God-given responsibility. We must make the time daily to pray!

Read The Bible.

The Bible and prayer go hand in hand. Pray as you read, and meditate on God’s Word as you pray.
