Our Shelter

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world. John 16:33 NET

Jesus very plainly offers that in this world there will be trouble. But friends, we need not fear, for He has overcome the world. In other words: Be courageous knowing no matter what we face, Even when the nations are roaring; kingdoms, governments, and economies fall; and health fails, we know that He will take us through it. 

Psalms 46:8-9 TPT Come! Witness the exploits of the LORD, who brings devastation to the earth! He brings an end to wars throughout the earth; He shatters the bow and breaks the spear; He burns the shields with fire. 

Amazing grace, thank You Holy Spirit, There is a stillness needed in all of our lives in order to know and understand the fullness of God, who He is, and what He can do. We need to know Him and trust Him. 

Psalms 9:10 TPT May everyone who knows Your mercy keep putting their trust in You, for they can count on You for help no matter what. O Lord, You will never, no never, neglect those who come to You.

Trust God. Take time to know Him in all of His power and splendor. May we all say: “Sovereign God, in all of these things that are going on in our world these days, we’re going to trust in You.”

Jesus stood firm with honor and compassion and was never blown around by prevailing earthly winds. He sought God’s will. 

1 John 4:4 TPT Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world.

Seek God for His solutions and learn to trust Him, because He is forever good and, as His beloved children, God will always guide and protect us. He is our shield, our shelter.
