Because of their distress, they turned back to the LORD God of Israel. They sought Him and He responded to them. In those days no one could travel safely, for total chaos had overtaken all the people of the surrounding lands. One nation was crushed by another, and one city by another, for God caused them to be in great turmoil. But as for you, be strong and don’t get discouraged, for your work will be rewarded.  2 Chronicles 15:4-7 NET

God is faithful and will come through in His word concerning His people despite challenges we may be wading through.  On our own we are unable to effectively explain and execute God’s plan for this life, but with humble trust and willingness we are able because Christ makes us so.

When we aim our focus onto God’s targeted plans for our lives, we are able to partner with Jesus, make a positive impact on others in Christ. What a gift -  being a part of someone else's road to salvation!!

Sadly when we deliberately choose to reject God’s plan, it will not only negatively effect our  life but it can influence others and their walk away from Jesus.

I see it this way, when we agree to be a piece of God’s salvation plan and ask Holy Spirit for wisdom and strength to keep our eyes fixed towards the horizon, we will see God has asked us to be a part of the salvation of His nations!

Jesus doesn’t just give us what we need; Jesus is what we need. Our hearts were created by Him, for Him. And that is the same with the hearts of those all around the world! Oh Lord Jesus, how we need You, we love You. It is a simple truth: You can fight and claw to gain the world, but without Jesus, you will never be completely satisfied.

If there is a growing discontent deep inside your heart—a hunger that hasn’t been completely satisfied by the people, pleasures, parties, material things, or accomplishments—today is the day to open your heart to the idea that it is Jesus Christ that you were made for. But we have to walk away from the lesser things of this world  and ask Him to become our “more.” Jesus is enough for you, He is enough for me, and He is here.
