Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in His eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure, feasting on His faithfulness. Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and He will provide for you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust Him along the way you’ll find He pulled it off perfectly! He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun. Quiet your heart in His presence and pray; keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked in their prosperity are better off than you. Psalms 37:3-7 TPT

It's starting to make so much more sense that "faith" really is the "evidence of things not seen," and that a spiritually driven life is a life of constant faith and belief.

Because we are so uniquely crafted as human beings, we don't naturally trust someone we can't see, especially when there is pain and uncertainty involved in our own personal story. But we can trust our Saviour!

Psalms 37:3 TPT Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in His eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure.

When our hopes and dreams get snatched from us, we feel as though we may be worthless and can’t amount to anything in our lives. When the plans that we had for the future aren’t what they should be in our minds, we may feel as though we are not only letting ourselves down. We may also feel as though we are a disappointment to our family and our friends.  That lie couldn’t be any further from the truth.

God has never ever seen us as a disappointment.

He knows the plans He has for each of our lives. He plans to give us hopes and futures, filled with the purpose He has already placed in our hearts from the day we were born.

When we've found ourselves engulfed and buried inside one of life's many storms, it can become a lot easier to self-protect in order to avoid the suffering. But truth be told, the only wY out of the storm is to seek and trust Holy Spirit as He takes your hand, no matter what the daily circumstances look like to our human eyes, we know that His joy, peace and steadfast love is the shelter, stillness, in the storm.
