Bigger Than Worry

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8:11 NLT

So many times worry will try to cripple us, rearing its ugly head in the form of, “What if.” What if God doesn’t deliver? What if my health never recovers? What if my job never gets better? What if the economy never improves? What if …?

But each day let’s remember to rely on this truth: God is so much bigger than our worry.  

If our futures were dependent on us alone, there might be some things worth worrying about. I’m well aware of what I can and can’t do. But we’re not alone. 

The same Spirit who raised Jesus Christ lives within us, and in Him we can be who God created us to be and do what He has called us to do!
