For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly but because of God who subjected it – in hope that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now. Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of Holy Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8:19-23 NET
So here we are. In this era, season, time in history. And my friends there is good news. Through Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, God made a way for us to be rescued from our sin and for all creation to be restored.
And remember and be amazed too that though we sometimes forget, the Good News isn’t just about personal salvation, the Good News is also about global restoration.
All God’s children can return home to Him if we acknowledge and accept that Jesus is our risen Saviour!
The Gospel is the announcement of God’s plan to make all things new. God’s plan includes you! Me, and every person.
