These Are Recorded

Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.  John 20:30-31 NET

The Gospels are the story of hope and love invading history in the person of Jesus.  

The Gospels are an invitation, not just to learn history, but more importantly to enter into the the Gospel, to become a piece of Jesus’ redemptive plan for mankind! 

Bewildering thought I know, can you imagine, thousands of years later, Jesus is still with us, still taking us with Him on His mission!!

Read the Bible! Find a true translation that God will use to speak to you. For some it is the King James Version, or New International Version, or Christian Standard Bible, or a more recent translation that is in the process of being transcribed, The Passion Translation. There are many many others to read. 

Because the Bible is God’s written word, living and true. And throughout history, Christians have placed so much value on reading the Bible. Because every time we read the Bible, we open ourselves up to the truth of God and His transforming power.
