He Is Coming Back

If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, because He resides with you and will be in you.  John 14:15-17 NET

The  Bible, God’s living Word, refers to Holy Spirit as the Comforter, Advocate, how could He be anything less? He is the Spirit of God, who is Love.  If we trust in Jesus, He has given us His Holy Spirit. It is that Spirit who preaches the Gospel to all who listen and hear. He reminds you, ‘Jesus has forgiven you’, ‘God loves you’, ‘I’m with you’. 

In the midst of a global pandemic, tomorrow seems uncertain. Each day we see the death toll rising and new solutions proposed. We don’t know if a cure is likely or how long lockdown measures will stay in place. 

But, there is something we do know. We know how the story ends. 

The Bible teaches that Jesus, the good King, is coming back. God hasn’t abandoned the world. He has a beautiful plan for His creation and His people.
