Down A New Road

So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away – look, what is new has come!  2 Corinthians 5:17 NET

Let’s remember gratefully (and often) when we first came to living faith in Christ. For every believer there was a time when the “old . . . passed away” and things became new, a time when we truly made the Christian faith our own. 

In my own case, there was a day in 2015 when God rescued me from years of fear, mistakes, shame and replaced them with a living experience Jesus Christ and I will never forget it!

And, good to note, life got incredibly challenging, hard, traumatic after I committed my life to God, but whoa Jesus is worth more than all things, more than my circumstances, more than frail human thoughts and emotions, yes my friends loving Jesus following Jesus knowing Jesus is worth more than the air we breath. 

Or, if you cannot remember a time when you didn’t believe in Jesus Christ, recall when you first understood the depth of God’s forgiving grace and the enduring love of Jesus. 

Maybe you are undecided in your faith, but know this, without doubt, that Jesus Christ, Saviour, Messiah, is waiting there at your side to take your hand. To lead you down a new road.
