Be Single-minded

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 3:13-14 NET

The first thing we must do to live a full life, to stop dying and start really living, is to develop a forward look. We must forget all the things that are behind us. 

In our cars, on our motorcycles, we cannot drive forward while constantly looking at our review mirror, or we may crash.  

We cannot go forward and backward at the same time. We either go forward or we go  backward. 

Because, the truth is, if we do not forget the things of old, we will never have the new things that God is doing. We cannot change what happened to us in the past, but we can change its impact on our minds, our thoughts, and our way of life. We cannot change the facts, but we can stop adding our opinions to those facts.
