Now, this is what the LORD says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: “Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you. I call you by name, you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Deliverer.  Isaiah 43:1-3 NET

Jesus teaches not to be afraid of those who have tried to destroy us emotionally or physically. Instead, we are to fear—with a reverent attitude—the One Who determines and fulfills our soul’s destiny.

Because praying to God, with Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus, is an act of faith, mercy, forgiveness, love, that casts out fear and fills the our hearts with His light. Our God is with us wherever we go.  No matter what we face, God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit are with us.

So does that mean that we will never suffer? Not at all. It means that we can trust Him to be with us through every challenge we will ever face.

Whoa, let me tell you my friends, I learned immediately the moment I was saved by God that as believers in Christ, we are going to face deep waters. We are going to encounter rivers of difficulty. We are going to walk through the fire of trauma. And our God will be at our sides every step of the way.
