None Should Perish

For you were going astray like sheep but now you have turned back to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.  1 Peter 2:25 NET

God does things we would never think of. And He does things in ways we think would never work. But God’s ways are so much wiser than any of our plans. Imagine if God had chosen to come to earth as an adult instead of an infant. 

He then might have been more of what His people were expecting as they looked for the Messiah that had been promised. But the man on the cross beside Jesus knew the sound of the Lord’s voice, as a sheep hears it’s shepard. 

We all know people who don’t understand, grasp, or desire the good news of Jesus. Their lives may appear happy but as followers of Jesus, we know that a truly abundant life as well as our eternal security can only come from Jesus. 

Let’s pray for the people in our lives who need Jesus and also use it as we cry out to God for those around our world whom we don’t know but He does. 

For it’s God’s desire that no one should perish.
