And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose, because those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.  Romans 8:28-29 NET

The freedom we have has nothing to do with what we have done to earn it, but everything to do with what Jesus has done on our behalf. He purchased eternal freedom for us, and it cost Him His life.

So really what we must do, going forward, is to keep Jesus forefront in our minds, when we come upon decision points. What we must do is ask ourselves, What decisions do we want written, permanently, into our stories? 

Freedom with Christ is living each day with an awareness that although we do not deserve anything but God’s judgement because of our guilt and sin and failure, He has done something about it through the Lord Jesus Christ!

That is our freedom..... knowing this with faith and trusting Him day by day.
