Can You Even Imagine?

But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I go, I will send Him to you. And when He comes, He will prove the world wrong concerning sin and righteousness and judgment – concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see Me no longer; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.  John 16:7-11 NET

Can you even begin to imagine that before the foundations of the world, God knew you. He knew me. Before we were even conceived, God knew our names. He knitted you together in your mother’s womb. Not only that, but at some point during that process He inscribed the message of Jesus Christ on our hearts so that when we received that message, it clicked, and our longing hearts received it like a faint, but now retrieved memory.

The very air around us is filled with the invisible, soft, stillness of God’s voice and we were built to hear it, and then relay His thoughts to people through our own words and actions.
