Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NASB

God’s kingdom is a righteous kingdom. His character is perfection, His standards are excellent, and He cannot look on sin. Therefore, those who deny God and reject His standards, the Bible warns, “will not inherit the kingdom of God.” A lifestyle marked by sin, rebellion, and stubbornness is incompatible with Christ’s rule—and a decision to spend life in that way is a decision to live outside of the borders of His kingdom.

We may be born of any nation, rich or poor, men or women, but what unites us is our allegiance to the king of Kings— When we give our lives to Jesus Christ, We are citizens of His kingdom. We march to the Lord’s instructions, we rejoice among His troops, and we are willing to do His bidding.

Thank You Lord for Your mercy…. No member of Christ’s family lives a sinless life this side of eternal glory. Rather, Apostle Paul is referring to someone who persistently pursues or tolerates sin. He has in mind the kind of person that declares, “I don’t want God to interfere in my choices, but I do want to live with the notion that I belong in His kingdom anyways”

Jesus sets the kingdom borders. It is simply not the case that everybody is in, no matter who they are, what they believe, or what they want! The idea that every good person is going to spend eternity with Jesus may sound very palatable, but it is simply not what God’s word teaches—God, and no one else, will judge who resides in His kingdom.

The word of God teaches there will be a day of judgment. Indeed, Jesus Christ will return in His glory, and “before Him will be gathered all the nations, and He will separate people one from another” to receive either the kingdom of God or eternal destruction (Matthew 25:32).

God has created His kingdom for all eternity. Will you choose and declare today whom you serve?

The coming judgment should create a sense of urgency in our lives, and it should create honesty about - and ruthlessness with - our sin. We must present to the world— and preach to ourselves—the true Savior in the person of Jesus the Christ, who will do exactly what He said He will do.

It is only in recognizing our sin and our need for a Savior that we will inherit the everlasting kingdom of God.

For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.  Ephesians 2:14-16 NASB

All around us there are enemy plots that have been devised by satan to divide and destroy, using nations we were born in, political choices, organized church affiliation, and so much more to take our allegiance away from Christ - and it is a sombre realization that the enemy of God’s people is using, dividing and creating walls of separation and hostility and distrust between us. All around us, every day, even the most insignificant topics act as barriers causing us to wage war against one another.

But that is not God’s kingdom! We are to live with our eyes fixed firmly on Jesus Christ, walking out His will on earth, each of us a piece of the salvation story of God’s people!

praise God! Thank You Jesus for coming to save Your people and unite us with You as one people under one accord with one heart and one mission!

Luke 21:31 NASB ”So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.“

God’s created, our neighbor who is in a different income bracket, our coworkers who hold different political beliefs, our family members whose lifestyles we don’t agree with . . . they’re not so different from any of us. Every generation before us, all of humanity alive today, tomorrow, all are the people Jesus came for, died for, and calls home to Him.

Friends, God is seeking a generation of people willing to lay down their desires, put others first, and pursue His Kingdom over our own. “Less of me and more of You Lord” is to be a constant prayer, repent for times when we’ve not had a servant's heart to further God’s kingdom and have been selfish in our thoughts, intentions, and actions. Pray and ask God to set our hearts and minds on eternity and give us the right perspective as we run our race here on earth, ask Holy Spirit to teach us what having a warrior’s heart, answering God’s commission, serving His kingdom looks like.

When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening. Some were being persuaded by the things spoken, but others would not believe. And when they did not agree with one another, they began leaving after Paul had spoken one parting word, “The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers, saying, ‘Go to this people and say, “You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; And you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; For the heart of this people has become dull, And with their ears they scarcely hear, And they have closed their eyes; Otherwise they might see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.” ’ Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen.” [When he had spoken these words, the Jews departed, having a great dispute among themselves.] And he stayed two full years in his own rented quarters and was welcoming all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.  Acts 28:23-31 NASB

By the power and presence of Holy Spirit in us, we can have a relationship with God.  Our common faith in Christ unites us as family, and Holy Spirit in us unites us as one body under the headship of Jesus.

Thus, we can work by the Lord’s strength, together for the good of God’s people, we can put aside the need for getting things done our way-  we can be an undivided community, God’s church, His kingdom on earth as in heaven!

Time is accelerating, Jesus Christ is near. The consequence of mocking God, of refusing Jesus is death in fact Eternal pain and suffering.  God created us, human beings, to dwell with Him, To have beautiful, absolute, unbroken relationship with Him. But Adam and Eve chose their own way and sinned against the Lord of all creation. Sin entered the world, and death followed closely.  We were expelled from His kingdom.

But fear not! Jesus teaches anyone who believes in Him will have everlasting life.

We must acknowledge, accept, believe and declare that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the One who conquered death and rose again 3 days later conquering death, we know there will come a time when we die biologically but if we have made the Lord Jesus Christ, our saviour,  the perspective of earthly death is much different.

Romans 5:6-10 NASB For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

We're do not need to be afraid of God’s eternal kingdom. We won't run away from it. We have a hope, eternal hope.

Hallelujah!

The glory of God is found in acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God. He is the resurrection and the life. It is written that we might believe and live. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus, I want you to be confident in our Savior, He is all that is all that was all that will be.
