Maybe You Remember

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.  2 Timothy 1:7-9 NASB

Jesus died and rose again for us that we would choose not to live for ourselves, but for Him and for others, to the glory of God. 

Christ died and rose again that we might live THROUGH Him - that’s salvation. We fix our eyes upon You Jesus.

John 6:19-21 NASB Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they *saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were frightened. But He *said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” So they were willing to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.

Can you imagine it? Whoa! Jesus Christ died and rose again so that you and I will live through Him, and for Him, and with Him. Friend now is the day to Trust Him as your Lord and Saviour! Wake up saints! Cast off the dullness and by Faith believe Jesus was crucified, know that He conquered death, see that He is risen! 

Ephesians 5:13-14 NIV But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

Maybe you remember the moment when you grasped Gods outstretched hand! When everything changed? It is impossible to put into words what happens to the human heart bursting to life for the first time meeting Jesus, when all of a sudden, the voice of God sounds like singing. All anxiety is overtaken by grace, and fear was overrun by faith. 

A Purpose replaces aimlessness, and pride is no match for surrender hearts. Hallelujah! Because of Jesus You are a nomad given a home. You are a peasant made royal. You were once in darkness, prone to wander in the shadows, but now you are light.
