Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.  Revelation 11:15 NASB

Please please! be open to Holy Spirit, God is giving us time to look at our own walk with Jesus, all the while giving us opportunities to share Jesus, the Gospel, with the unbeliever who has no faith yet, and the long time Christian, disillusioned and wavering in their faith, and the new believer ready to share what Jesus did in their own mission on Earth, That’s some heavy stuff.  Yet could it be possible that despite our best intentions we are in fact denying God Jesus Christ Holy Spirit, when we go about our day and don’t even know it?

If you’re familiar with Matthew 10 you might think that denying Jesus is simply expressing a lack of belief in Him with our words but actually it’s not that cut and dry.  Did you know that we are denying Christ by our failure to move forward within God’s will while the world around us is pouring fear and chaos over our path?  That we are denying Christ when we share news headlines that do not bring glory to Him but cause fear anger, that we are denying Jesus when we meekly accept the bookstore putting the Bible on the same shelf as the occult books…..

Matthew 10:32-33 NASB “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.”

Denying Christ occurs everytime we fail to embrace Him, His teachings, and His love.  our sight is clouded by a sinful world and it appears that it has become easier for us to embrace the very things that are trying to separate us from the Gospel, choosing instead our comfort and complacency.

Come to the cross friend!  Now. Time is accelarating, are you ready to give a reckoning of your life to God?

We are the recipients of the truth of the Gospel, Christ is the One who paid for it with His blood to make eternity available to all who seek Him.

Psalms 40:16 NASB “Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!”

What the One bleeds for, another lives for — will you deny God? Who hung upon that cross as our ransom? Can we comprehend the fact that Jesus could have obliterated everyone and everything with a thought but yet He chose to give His life for all? How can we deny Him the Saviour?!?

Jesus Christ shed His own blood for the truth of which we can choose to freely partake.

Even if the enemy’s spirits of our age try to lure us into denying Jesus, modifying the message of the Gospel to pacify the shifting whims of our society, we must firmly proclaim God’s gift of faith in its purest form. Jesus is Lord, He is the Messiah, He is God. The Saviour didn’t originate with us, and we don’t have the right to deny His power and presence in any way.

All are created to long for our eternal home with God, all are given the choice to walk enslaved to satan or live as a shining light in the midst of a lost generation clinging to the truth of Jesus Christ and refusing to compromise our stance or conform to the world, regardless of any pressure we face to do otherwise. THAT is something to think about — and to make a decision about TODAY !

Recommit yourself to living according to the teaching and the standards of the Bible, even when it puts us at odds with what society is trying to tell us to do.

Will you deny Jesus Christ for the sake of comfort, friendships, a life in this world? Or will you choose to declare the Gospel to a world who does not always want to hear of His saving grace?

Christ denied. Those two words make me ill, heart breaking angst to think about denying Christ yet I have denied Him. When i stay silent and don't speak God’s word in response, when we make the choice to allow fear to keep us from trusting God every day, when we stop the regular consistent reading of the Bible, when we do not live out our hour by hour conversation of prayer with Holy Spirit we have in fact denied Christ by denying the deep relationship He wants us to embrace.  Similarly, when we focus on all the roadblocks and potential troubles we face on this journey to God’s eternity, we are in fact denying the peace that comes with having King Jesus as our saviour, Lord over our lives.  Furthermore, when we lazily refuse to take on the challenges and burdens that come with the territory of following Jesus we are in effect denying Christ by failing to bear our cross.

You see denying Christ will leave Him no choice but to deny us. Simple cause and effect.   There is no doubt that the enemy who God allows to rule this world is trying to lure God’s people away from life eternal.    hold fast to the teaching of the Word of God. It has been correct for thousands of years, and it remains the unerring guide for our life until God returns to judge, Live for Jesus. Breathe for Jesus. Put your faith in Jesus. Call out to Jesus. Hold onto Jesus like never before. Read the Bible and live by it. Praise God. Worship God. Cling to Jesus. Rest in Jesus. Hunger for Jesus. Yearn for Jesus. Learn from Jesus. Be changed by Jesus. Be grown by Jesus. Commune with Jesus. Belong to Jesus.
