To Join Him

“I have commanded My consecrated ones, I have even called My mighty warriors, My proudly exulting ones, To execute My anger. A sound of tumult on the mountains, Like that of many people! A sound of the uproar of kingdoms, Of nations gathered together! The Lord of hosts is mustering the army for battle. They are coming from a far country, From the farthest horizons, The Lord and His instruments of indignation, To destroy the whole land. Wail, for the day of the Lord is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will fall limp, And every man’s heart will melt. They will be terrified, Pains and anguish will take hold of them; They will writhe like a woman in labor, They will look at one another in astonishment, Their faces aflame. Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, Cruel, with fury and burning anger, To make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash forth their light; The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light. Thus I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their iniquity; I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud And abase the haughtiness of the ruthless. I will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold And mankind than the gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place At the fury of the Lord of hosts In the day of His burning anger.” Isaiah 13:3-13 NASB

What has this generation become but another spoiled stubborn selfish people who presume to know better, build better, than the omnipotent omniscient omnipresent God?!? As if the creator of the heavens and the earth is a feeble being NO ! He is the Lord God Almighty who is who was who is yet to come He is holy holy holy….. who can deny when all creation, the very earth, echoes with His glory.

Will we still praise God when the earth around us parishes? YES!

Are we scared of the end times bringing death and a judgement we so truly deserve? Or do we celebrate the coming end, giving all glory to God, acknowledging all power and authority is God’s alone? do we prepare for battle as kingdom warriors, or do we deny Jesus and become enemy infantry as cowards of sin.

Jesus Christ is the only choice we have.  For thousands of years He has invited His people to join Him in eternity. 

He states “I am the way.” - Not just that He knows the way or points to the way, but He is the way, the only way.

He declares “I am the truth.” He doesn't say “I know the truth or have the truth, but I am the truth. I embody truth. Truth is found in me.

Jesus Christ teaches “I am the life.” Not only a way to life or a source of life, but life itself. All life is found in Me teaches Jesus, and there is no life apart from Me.

“No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus is not trying to be exclusive or narrow. It’s just the way it is. There is no other sacrifice for sin, no other source of life, no other way to God except by the blood, death and resurrection of the saviour, oh Lord Jesus forgive Your people! We pray for the discernment to see through the enemy's distractions, we long to behold Your glory God!
