“For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.” Galatians 6:8-10 NASB
We will walk, free from sin, in the fullness of who God originally created us to be standing straight, no broken bones, no debilitating diseases. No dark blotches on our hearts.
And although you may want to give up today, remember that perseverance will truly lead to a better version of yourself that resembles Christ more and more over time.
We encourage you, read the Bible. Seek Jesus Christ, He is patient, He is waiting for each of us.
Matthew 12:30 NASB “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.”
Jesus does not allow us to "sit on the fence" about His identity or our commitment to Him. If we are not for God, we are against Him.
Why do we perch on the fence …. Rather than seeing issues as right or wrong, good or evil, we often respond with, "Well, it's not all that cut and dried."
Being lukewarm, undecided, noncommittal, is simply another way of opposing the Lord. We must begin today to daily live with unabashed dedication in our service to the Lord Jesus Christ!
From the beginning Jesus has communicated to His people as the king of Kings, making it very clear that we must come to Him on His terms…… Matthew 4:16-17 NASB “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, Upon them a Light dawned.” From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Guys! That is not a sales pitch. That is a declaration of invasion.
Friend, approaching Jesus with consumer mindsets, we think we are in charge, like we are casually shopping at the mall. Stop. This just doesn’t work. It’s not an option. Jesus is not a product for us to dabble with. He does not advertise Himself to us to see if we might maybe be interested in some of the goods and services He has to offer us….
Ready or not, here comes THE kingdom. The king is commanding His nation to repent, to turn from the old ways of life and our old ways of thinking and surrender to Him on His terms.
This is God’s kingdom, King Jesus is in charge, here as in heaven, He defines the terms. He decides what is best for us.
