How blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, You will be happy and it will be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine Within your house, Your children like olive plants Around your table. Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the Lord. The Lord bless you from Zion, And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Psalms 128:1-5 NASB
To grow in God’s kingdom here on earth, we must learn to value what He treasures and give attention to the things that have captured His heart. When we become kingdom-minded people and truly make the return of Jesus Christ the priority of our pursuits in this life, we place ourselves in the will of God and He will lead us through the murkiness.
The enemy is constantly whispering distractions to make us question God’s Word, and His plan for mankind. If satan can trap us in this conversation, it’s a slippery slope that will fuel sin, introduce chaos and blind us to Jesus Christ’s love.
May we be people who remain steadfast, acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the saviour, and respond to the enemy's attempts to divert us from God’s plan by staying alert, building up safeguards of prayer, worship, and Bible reading to protect our life of freedom in Jesus, asking Holy Spirit for help in the face of difficulties, temptation, and surrounding ourselves with Godly friends who will pray with us, pray for us, in fact LETS PRAY THROUGH:
Ephesians 6:10-20 NASB Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
God teaches in Ephesians 6 that we need to actively put on the armor of God so that we will be able to stand against the devil’s schemes.
..... and put on His armor every day.
