Do You See

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.  1 Timothy 4:1-5 NASB

JESUS CHRIST. name above all names. His name denotes power, authority, and majesty. Yet, in humility He took on human form to rescue us.  He modelled for us how we should live. He is God, who loves us more than we deserve or will ever comprehend.

When you surrender your life to Christ, understand He is making intercession for you. He has saved us from eternal punishment, suffering. There is no generational cycle that Jesus Christ cannot break. There is no chain linked to Satan that the Lord cannot destroy. 

It is through Jesus Christ, that our sins and transgressions are completely wiped away.

Hebrews 7:25 NASB Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. 

Luke 4:14-19 NASB And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district. And He began teaching in their synagogues and was praised by all. And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And Jesus opened the book and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.”

Do you see that? Jesus chose to reconcile mankind to God, the Heavenly Father, the king came for those in need; the brokenhearted, the addicted, the blind, the saints, the oppressed and the oppressor…..not to make our lifespan here easy and comfortable but to teach, redeem, correct, judge and take us home to eternity….  

My friends, Jesus Christ is alive. He is the Gospel. 

When we repent of our sin, do not return to it and instead turn to God, we are redeemed. When we choose to surrender our own will to Jesus Christ, when we give our heart to Him, we are renewed with Him. He is the only way to God, He is our salvation. Simply remain. Abide. Yes Lord simply remain - though life is layered and deep we are to simply remain in the presence of Jesus, magnificent Jesus. 

Wow! Thank You God! Your word teaches us - reminds us - that for thousands of years Your people have gone before us - covered by Your might  - they’ve struggled, lost, won, stumbled and stood again. By Faith we trust Your hand is guiding us today and will lead us through tomorrow.  

It is awe inspiring to read God’s teachings throughout the Bible, humbling to understand that when we pray for wisdom Holy Spirit will give us the wisdom to walk where He asks us to walk, knowledge that teaches each of us to stand firm and stride confidently as a servant of God all while giving the Lord of all creation glory through a life lived out with faith in Jesus Christ!  Hallelujah!
