It is God who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens. When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain And brings forth the wind from His storehouses.  Jeremiah 51:15-16 NASB

Trust the Lord! Read the Bible with Holy Spirit every day! Pray a continuous conversation to Jesus Christ ever day! Knowing that God is creator, He is all powerful, all knowing, is a relief!

Whatever you are facing right now may be trying to diminish who God is to you.  But God’s presence, His acts, and His attributes remain forever constant. Praise Jesus. Sing out loud! And honestly when we catch a glimpse of how magnificent, holy and powerful God is, the mess of this world just shrinks into its place of insignificance.

Psalms 149:1-6 NASB Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Let Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation. Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand.

Yes my friends … There is every reason to “praise the name of the Lord our God, O praise His name forevermore!”

Jesus is coming again. Personally and visibly, He is coming back. In power and glory, He will return to establish His eternal kingdom.  the Bible’s teaching on end time events is not merely to satisfy our curiosity. Rather, it is to reveal how to live now in light of future events.

Hallelujah!, we have a unique opportunity alongside of God, to get ready for whatever is ahead; drawing from the guidance of scripture and the presence of Holy Spirit. God championed His people to be strong and courageous in the midst of their many trials. He is preparing us for the terrains of life - to dwell in His presence and find refuge and strength there.

Haggai 1:8-9 NASB Go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild the temple, that I may be pleased with it and be glorified,” says the Lord. “You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?” declares the Lord of hosts, “Because of My house which lies desolate, while each of you runs to his own house.

The Lord doesn’t change. He is God.  God of the Old Testament,  God of the New Testament—same power, same will, same love for His people.  God’s heart remains the same.

The Old Testament temple was more than just a building in which to worship. It was a rallying place of identity and relationship for the people. More importantly, it was a resource centre for the nation as a whole, a storehouse for the benefit of all the people to supply resources that were essential to Israel—resources that remain essential to us.

The church in our day has been ravaged and diminished in influence under pressure from the idolatrous culture that surrounds us. Figuratively speaking, a remnant is even now returning from exile. It’s time to rebuild on a biblical foundation and construct a temple adequate to contain the outpouring God is sending.
