Blessed

Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings will come to you and reach you if you obey the Lord your God: “Blessed will you be in the city, and blessed will you be in the country". “Blessed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, and the offspring of your animals: the newborn of your herd and the young of your flock". “Blessed will be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed will you be when you come in, and blessed will you be when you go out".  Deuteronomy 28:1-6 NASB

Stay committed to God’s plan despite what is going around us. Don't be overwhelmed, be open, God’s targeted plan might require achieving something that has never been accomplished and through our journey God is able to use us for His glory. The Lord is faithful and will come through in His word concerning us despite the challenges we are currently facing. 

And while we might not be able to effectively explain God’s plan for our life, committing to the Lord and following God’s commands is to be a prayer that starts our day. Ask Holy Spirit for understanding and strength. Asking Him for the wisdom to align ourselves with God is of extreme importance. Intentionally following your own plan and NOT God’s plan is rebellion. 

No matter how someone tries to justify disobedience, God is not pleased with the deliberate rejection of His word. It is so so vital that we don’t allow distractions, fear, pride and our opinions to interfere with Jesus Christs presence within us. 

When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, I quickly realized that God’s ways are not often popular with the world and some will not understand God’s call on your life. While we are obedient to following God’s commands, people might walk out of our lives, we may be teased, bullied, or worse but this place is not our forever home, it is better to be obedient to God than to succumb to the disobedience of the world’s influence.  

Obedience is a beautiful way of humbling ourselves before our Heavenly Father and saying, "God I am Yours, in my surrendering to You, I trust You with all that I am, I have faith that in anything You call me to, it is part of Your purpose for my life, Your will be done." In this, there is truly no better life to live than one in obedience to our God.
