And Jesus answered and said to them, See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.  Matthew 24:4-8 NASB

These are not times when we should be depending on our own strength, intelligence, knowledge, or natural abilities. The only way to be prepared for what is happening and for what will come is to invite Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour, we need Holy Spirit to be in our lives, every day all day, God gives us wisdom and discernment and teaches us  to dwell in, spend our days in, His presence by (1) seeking and following Jesus (2) reading and studying the Bible (3) praying an ongoing conversation with Him; (4) praising and worshipping for all He is, was, and will be. Only in these ways will we be able to see what is coming and be ready to receive Holy Spirit’s wisdom to guide us in the midst of the chaos and the calm.

My friends, we cannot make a move without Holy Spirit. God’s judgment on mankind’s rebellion, sin, and wickedness is coming to the earth.

The revelations that Jesus Christ shared point to His appearing and His coming.  Read the Bible - There are a number of prophetic signs described in the books of Daniel, Matthew, Luke, and 1 Timothy - these aren't necessarily the only indicators of the last days, but they are significant and have been shared by Holy Spirit.

Luke 21:25-28 NASB There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

Jesus’ disciples asked Him about the sign of His coming and the end of the age because they understood that all seasons are identified by signs. Keep in mind that a Biblical sign represents a higher spiritual reality - we absolutely need God’s help to understand the scope of His divine warnings such as…. ..deception, false prophets, wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, famine and pestilence, earthquakes, persecution of the church, offences, lawlessness, love growing cold, the preaching of the Gospel in all the world, fear, an increase in knowledge, the shortening of time, the rebirth of the nation of Israel, apostasy (the abandonment or renunciation of a religious belief), perplexity, and shakings.... whoa its so heavy Lord, oh Holy Spirit, come, we trust You, we rely on You….

Micah 7:18-20  NASB Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea. You will give truth to Jacob And unchanging love to Abraham, Which You swore to our forefathers From the days of old.

Jesus taught and lived a life that was all about love and self-denial. He washed the feet of His disciples, served a last meal, and allowed a kiss from His betrayer. He laid down all His rights as King and did not take any offence in being humiliated, beaten, spat upon, and nailed to a cross. Jesus Christ was crucified for humanity’s sin, He descended into hades yet conquering death rose again and gave us the gift of choice - are we standing with Him or against Him.

We are called to live in His victory my friends!  If chasing and being preoccupied with things was not His primary goal, why should it be ours or why should it be a goal at all?  Apostle Paul taught we should be content in every situation; wherever you are and in all you do. Jesus and His followers lived this heavenly principle for us. Let us do the same so the world we encounter daily can have a Godly example to follow.

It's not that we arecalled to live with a poverty mentality, but we need to ask the Lord to give us His plans to serve His kingdom.  God has called us to be good stewards of the resources He provides. God’s arms are open daily. Go to Him! He is waiting for us to surrender our hearts completely so that we can represent Jesus Christ, Messiah, who walked among His world and changed not only His generation but future generations as well.
