God Will Place You

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through Holy Spirit who was given to us.  Romans 5:3-5 NASB

Eternal life refers not just to quantity—to life that goes on forever—but more to quality. It's the kind of life lived that makes you sensitive to what God is doing. The essence of spiritual life is walking with God, sensing Holy Spirit in our life, communing with Christ, and participating in the spiritual realm.  Holy Spirit's ministry is to show us Christ, He assures us that Jesus Christ exists.

Ezekiel 37:14 NASB I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and done it, declares the Lord.

What the Lord promised in Ezekiel 37 would come to pass: "I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life."

What a privilege it is that God in His grace plants His very essence in us! We have a supernatural Helper, not just WITH but actually IN every one of us who believes in Jesus Christ. 

When Jesus told the disciples to believe in Him just as they believed in the invisible God, He said He would send Holy Spirit, who would remind them of His presence. Any ministry that centers on Holy Spirit is dangerous to the enemy because the Spirit's ministry is to point all people to Christ.

John 16:13-15 NASB But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

To walk in the Spirit we must start talking to Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit wants to have fellowship with us. He wants to have an ongoing relationship with each of His created. That’s that you, me.  And my friends because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we are fully qualified for that relationship, in the same way we are unconditionally qualified for the love of God and grace of Jesus. 

The Lord desires that intimacy with all of us, not just with certain special people but with each and every person who seeks God, and surrenders their life to Jesus Christ as the risen saviour. a Christian's character will not be developed as result of striving but as a result of surrendering. 

But we so often replace surrender with striving. A sort of striving that produces the work of the flesh; whereas surrender produces the fruit of the Spirit.  

Stop trying harder. Start yielding to Holy Spirit daily. Yield to Him the areas of your character where you are weak and stumble. 

Whenever temptation presents a scenario for us to act out of character, at that moment turn to Jesus - like IMMEDIATELY- follow Holy Spirit away from sin. 

When we cultivated a daily pattern of praying, reading the Bible and praising God we will sense His prompting; don’t grieve Him by ignoring His whisper. Holy Spirit will bring us to holiness when we follow Him. I can’t live without Holy Spirit. His fruit produces patience, peace, self-control and so much more within us.
