Take God At His word

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Galatians 6:9 NIV

I encourage us all to take the apostle Paul's words to heart today and resolve to continue submitting to the process of purity through Christ, for the sake of all those who are, as yet, unsaved. Amen.

I actually think too that Studying the historical Revivals of the past will inspire us with stories of great faith. Stories of men and women with the kind of faith who were confident in what they hoped for and assured of what they did not see. 

Hebrews 11:1 NIV "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

Phoebe Palmer, for example, was a bold evangelist and writer in the 1800s and was considered one of the founders of the Holiness Revival in America and the United Kingdom - criticized for speaking publicly as a woman and for addressing mixed crowds, she was so assured of God’s calling upon her life and confident in relying on God, that she was not shaken from her hard work and perseverance. As a result, thousands of men and women came to know Christ as God used her teaching of the Word. 

We all can and must have that Hope and ignite that Faith within us. If faith comes from hearing the message of Christ ...... 

Romans 10:17 AMP "So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself)."

and faith without good works is dead .......

James 2:17 AMP "So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)."

..... then let us today take God at His Word and do something! 

How about this, a challenge of sorts for the upcoming week, Write down the name of someone who you would like to share the message of Jesus with. 

Do something to actively build the relationship or strengthen your friendship with them - it is relationship that will make a way for you to share Jesus with them! God can do anything with one saved brother or sister.

He will give you the voice to share His word.
