He said, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” Acts 7:56 CSB

November 26/17. And the heavens opened.... It’s after church around noon standing in my kitchen looking out through the cold rain to the hills.  The clouds opened, a bright light shone through.

Holy Spirit spoke thru me “and the heavens of God shall open and heal the lands there is great joy and great chaos...”

Then at the bottom of the opening I saw the face and form of Jesus mixed with the greys silvers and golds of the clouds. He was enormous and moving and looking down on the hills I stood in awe and wonder and felt tears streaming down my cheeks. Christ is coming He is here. We are all sinners. We have all committed acts that bring hurt and shame to us and others.  Don't flinch or look away. Stand. Make declarations about who you are now as a brother or sister in Christ and what you have in Christ.  When the devil hears you assert your identity in Christ, it no longer sees only you; it sees Jesus.

When you stand your ground by meditating on God's love and declaring His Word, Jesus will beat the enemy down.  Now is the time we must not lose souls! We must step forth solid on God’s word for His glory for his kingdom we cannot cower in fear of rejection in comfort of complacency we must reach out strongly to those we encounter God is moving their lives into our paths and our lives into theirs so that they may hear our story of redemption and in turn pray to Jesus for mercy and salvation.

Reflecting the day after the vision. Jesus was calm, beautiful, peaceful and tender yet His image was distinctly a call to battle.

Deuteronomy 28:9 NIV The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to Him.

Go forth, spiritual warrior, with praise in your heart and prayer on your lips, dressed for battle. The battle belongs to the Lord, and the devil will flee seven ways. He has no choice when you submit yourself to God and resist him. No demon in hell is stronger than a will aligned with the Word of God. God’s grace floods the soul that seeks first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Today, years later…. at work this week….

Holy Spirit asked me a question - why is it that in these days it appears easy to lose tempers get frustrated be angry get indignant and then just as quickly reign in those responses - - but what if you accept those as gifts from God rather than deny those emotions concede to the louder voice of the masses who are fed lies ? Allow His eye opening events to light a fire in your soul to stir your heart for ALL His people to stand bold for His kingdom - we are not created to tolerate placate or put up with the world’s views of normal, or of blending in participating, accepting sin as actual lifestyle, of being part of the division and disunity among His community, His church….

John 2:13-17 NLT It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration, so Jesus went to Jerusalem. In the Temple area He saw merchants selling cattle, sheep, and doves for sacrifices; He also saw dealers at tables exchanging foreign money. Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables. Then, going over to the people who sold doves, He told them, “Get these things out of here. Stop turning My Father’s house into a marketplace!” Then His disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: “Passion for God’s house will consume Me.”

(Which is referenced as Psalms 69:9 My love for You, God, has My heart on fire! My passion for Your house consumes Me! Nothing will turn Me away, even though I endure all the insults of those who insult You.)

As we continue the road with Jesus I learn much of what has been written and preached and shared about Jesus has too often amounted to nothing more than a watered-down milquetoast version of Jesus Christ. I love Jesus, we love Jesus, not just the parts that keep us comfortable in our mainstream views.

Or Maybe this has been done to appease contemporary society's “tolerant” culture and to attract more followers and fill up more church buildings on Sundays and maybe it’s taken the love your neighbour and turned it into I’m awkward with conflict so I won’t share the full Gospel - but my friends! Let’s not carry on that way! There are lives eternal literally at stake!

Check out some pages of the New Testament where we get to see that Jesus came to reign on the earth and in the heavens as the warrior King!

First of all, we remember how Jesus affirmed to Pilate that the reason He came to the earth was to show that He is truth ….

John 18:37 TPT Then Pilate responded, “Oh, so then you are a king?” “You are right.” Jesus said, “I was born a King, and I have come into this world to prove what truth really is. And everyone who loves the truth will receive my words.

We can also think about how Jesus is depicted in the last book of the Bible, which is dedicated to revealing who He is……

Revelation 1:1-3 NLT  This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, who faithfully reported everything he saw. This is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.

In the book of Revelation, He is not only called the Alpha and the Omega….

Revelation 1:8 NLT  I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end, says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, Who always was, and Who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

He is also referred to as "the Lion of the tribe of Judah" in 5:5…..

Revelation 5:4-5 TPT  So I broke down weeping with intense sorrow, because there was found no one worthy to break open the scroll and read its contents. Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping. Look! The mighty Lion of Judah’s tribe, the root of David—he has conquered! He is the worthy one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.

Near the end of the book of Revelation, Jesus is also described as the warrior King who rides on His white horse….. leading the armies of heaven.

Revelation 19:11-16 NLT  Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for He judges fairly and wages a righteous war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on His head were many crowns. A name was written on Him that no one understood except Himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and His title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed Him on white horses. From Jis mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. On His robe at His thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all Lords.

Please read the book of Revelation,  please do a Bible study on it, daily devotional, but read it, the book of Revelation is so thick with language that speaks about the sovereignty of God, who releases judgments on the earth (which includes natural disasters and plagues) in conjunction with the sevenfold release of seals, trumpets and bowls (see Rev. 5-18) against unrepentant sinners and nations.

Wow! Thank You Holy Spirit!! You teach us, hold us upright! us keep turning our eyes to You!  Yes Lord, we will not turn a blind eye to Your will! … Your word invites us to sit with You.
