Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Savior-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace His life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.  1 Timothy 2:1-4 TPT

So Pray. Pray before responding. Pray before suggesting. Rely on Holy Spirit's wisdom, timing and solution. Seek out what the Bible says about a certain situation before diving in. Ask Holy Spirit to help guide you. And always stick to God’s truth and what His word says.

If you are going to be a peacemaker, you must have a pure heart—a heart that has been purified by the blood of Christ and that is regularly being washed by the Word of God.

The peacemaker, therefore, is not someone who avoids conflict at all costs; we are to be the ones who seek to be peaceable and to pronounce the gospel of peace. We are to be willing to listen first and seek to understand. Thus, we are open to reason, but we are not willing to swerve from God, His truth, and His gospel.
